Programme Manager

Population Services International (PSI) is the world’s leading nonprofit social marketing organization, with programs in 64 countries. PSI’s mission is to generate measurable health impact through culturally appropriate behavior change communications and by delivering affordable and accessible health products and services to low-income and vulnerable populations. They are now looking for a talented, dynamic and highly motivated Vietnamese individual to contribute to our growing organization and to meet the challenging demand of the following position based in Hanoi:
PROGRAM MANAGER: The Program Manager plays a lead role in management and oversight of PSI’s portfolio of HIV prevention programs to meet program objectives and achieve measurable health impact. This position will play a critical role in maintaining effective relationships with local partners, government authorities at different levels, donor agencies, the international community of organizations supporting health interventions, and local NGOs. This position will provide leadership to PSI’s Program Coordinators for different program areas to ensure use of disciplined and evidence-based approaches for targeted behavior change activities targeting the most at risk populations (commercial sex workers, men who have sex with men, injecting drug users, male clients of sex workers). S/he will work closely with PSI’s Marketing, Research and M&E teams to help implement all program activities.

Qualifications:
- University degree in public health, health, social science or related;
- At least 3 years experience in the HIV/AIDS prevention field, specifically in program design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- Demonstrated ability to build partnerships with partner organizations (provincial government, local and international NGOs)
- Experience in execution of targeted promotional and behavior change campaigns
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage a variety of activities concurrently
- Ability to communicate technical issues effectively and persuasively
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
- Fluent in written and oral communication skills in both English and Vietnamese;
- Results oriented team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
