Program Team Leader; Project Manager; Project Officer

PATH is an international, nonprofit organization that creates sustainable, culturally relevant solutions, enabling communities worldwide to break longstanding cycles of poor health. PATH seeks qualified candidates for four available positions in their Hanoi office:

Program Team Leader:
- to provide technical leadership in the office on programs related to public-private partnerships (PPP) and reproductive health. The Program Team Leader will support and guide multiple project managers working on projects in family planning, pharmacy-based primary health care, and maternal-child health; liaise with local government counterparts, other INGOs and local NGOs, WHO and UN agencies, and donor agencies. Monthly gross salary range: US$1,983 – US$2,479 plus competitive benefits (paid in VND)
- Knowledge, skills, and experience required: Advanced degree in public health or related field; medical or other clinical degree preferred plus a minimum of seven years of related work experience at the management level and experience working with government, INGO, NGO and UN counterparts; reproductive health expertise; in-depth understanding of Vietnam health system; project management skills; demonstrated report writing and presentation skills; excellent written and spoken Vietnamese and English; ability to travel up to 30% annually.

Project Manager:
- to manage day-to-day activities of US Government -funded Tuberculosis (TB) control project. Under the guidance of the Country Director and the Program Team Leader, the Project Manager’s responsibilities will include liaising with donor, managing staff, budget and activities, and coordinating with other PATH projects. S/he will work closely with senior international and national PATH staff, country collaborators and the donor.  Monthly gross salary range: US$1,586 – US$1,982 plus competitive benefits (paid in VND)
- Knowledge, skills, and experience required: Medical doctor or advanced degree in public health or other relevant discipline plus a minimum six years' progressive work experience in project management/coordination of collaborative projects involving multiple stakeholders; experience conducting health research; experience working effectively with government counterparts and with projects supported by the US Government is preferred; private sector experience a plus; working knowledge and experience of tuberculosis control programming; demonstrated report writing and presentation skills; excellent written and spoken Vietnamese and English; ability to travel up to 30% annually.

Project Officer:
- to implement the Enhancing the role of pharmacies as community health care providers project with the overall goal of improving community health outcomes. Under the guidance of the Project Manager, the Project Officer will work closely with project staff and partners at the provincial level in project implementation activities. Monthly gross salary range: US$862 – US$1,077 plus competitive benefits (paid in VND)
- Knowledge, skills, and experience required: Medical doctor (with advanced degree in public health is an advantage) plus a minimum of three years relevant work; experience in designing and implementing training for health personnel; experience in the public and private health sectors and familiarity with pharmacy issues are an advantage; experience working effectively with government counterparts; proven interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team; excellent written and spoken Vietnamese and English; availability to travel up to 40% annually

Project Officer:
- to work on the project Increasing quality of and access to medical abortion in Vietnam.  Under the guidance of the Country Director, the Project Officer’s responsibilities will inPclude liaising with government counterparts to manage and oversee project activities in Vietnam. Monthly gross salary range: US$1,077 – US$1,345 plus competitive benefits (paid in VND)
- Knowledge, skills, and experience required: Advanced degree in medicine, preferably with a public health concentration, plus a minimum of five years relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience; experience in project management and in designing and conducting training for health personnel; Skill in facilitating meetings; ability to work effectively with national and local counterparts; in-depth knowledge of country reproductive health context and familiarity with abortion issues; monitoring and evaluation or Behavior Change Communication skills a plus; interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and maintain high level of accountability; excellent written and spoken Vietnamese and English; ability to travel up to 30% annually.
