Office Manager

UCODEP is an Italian NGO working in North Vietnam since 2000, mainly focusing on rural development and primary health care. It is currently running a project to enhance health care and nutrition autonomy of the ethnic minorities in two mountainous communes in the province of Lao Cai.

Position: Office Manager
Location: Lao Cai Province, Bat Xat District

Scope of work:
To manage Bat Xat office human resources, supplies, finance.

Main task:
Office: ensure that the project filing and information system in the office is maintained and updated;
Logistics: ensure that processes of purchase, maintenance, inventory of office equipment and furniture, vehicles, and IT goods, logistics of trainings are implemented smoothly;
- Receiving guests & incoming phone calls, compiling letters, translating letters & documents; provide IT support.
- To manage the accounting documents/ records and make monthly expenditure reports of the project office,
- To manage office cash and do cash count at the end of the month;
- Personnel files: maintain and update personnel files of all project staff and leave record.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in office management, basic accounting.
- Previous experience in development is preferred but not compulsory. 
- Strong written and spoken English and Vietnamese
- Good computer skills,
- Knowledge of accounting system preferred but not compulsory.
