Muong Te Project Supporter (school-focus)
Church World Service Vietnam is a US non-governmental organization (NGO). We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Muong Te Project Supporter (school-focus) to be full-time based and to work in Muong Te district, Lai Chau province to provide support to the CWS Vietnam program operations.
Major duties and responsibilities include to:
- Act as primary contact for Muong Te project Education partners and project schools
- Closely work with partners to develop project quarterly work plans, proposals and reports
- Together with partners and beneficiaries to identify needs and solutions for the same
- Work with partners and schools in the daily implementation of approved project activities
- Actively conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of work carried out by partners
- Make sure all payments are made correctly, timely and transparently
- Assist in preparations of and to attend project meetings and visits
- Manage project administration at field level
Requirements:
- College or university exam, preferably in relevant field
- Development work experience an advantage
- Holder of motorbike driving license and able to drive on difficult mountainous roads
- Computer proficiency: word, excel, email, internet
- Good health
- Excellent team worker
- Appreciation and willingness to live and work in remote environment
Employment conditions:
- 2-year contract with possibility of extension
- Gross annual salary range between: USD2,340-USD4,056 depending on work experience
- Other benefits in accordance with CWS Vietnam personnel policy and Vietnam Labor Law
- Housing allowance: can be discussed

1st March 2010
