Legal Entity Consultant

Introduction
Information Connecting and Sharing (ICS) is a volunteer group that works for a positive image of homosexuality in Viet Nam. After operating for one year, the group has provided a lot of accurate information on the homosexual community through press, which has contributed to the reduction of discrimination against LGBT in our society. In order to work more efficiently, ICS has decided to register as a legal entity. Therefore, ICS is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of a consultant, aiming to support the registration with the specific following tasks:
1. Learn about different options of legal entity and registration process for the group
2. Analyze the advantages and disadvantages of each registration options in relationship to the strategy of ICS development
3. Support ICS to register with selected option

Requirements
1. Live and work in Ha Noi or Ho Chi Minh city
2. University graduate in law or social science
3. Preferably candidates who have experience in helping social organizations to register as legal entity

Some information about ICS:
1. ICS is a volunteer group working for the homosexual community in Viet Nam, which was established in 2008 and sponsored by iSEE and Ford Foundation.
2. Main activities of ICS are: (i) Unite homosexual communities in Viet Nam (as websites for LGBT) in creating a common network; (ii) work with press to provide accurate and good information about LGBT in Vietnam to reduce stigman and prejudice; (ii) create and provide special services to help the homosexual community, ie psychological counseling, career opportunities, and organize phylanthropic events for marganized groups such as children living with HIV, etc.
