Intern for Livelihoods Project

Save the Children in Vietnam (SC) works to promote every child’s rights to survival, protection, participation and development as set forth in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.  The current programme focuses on the following core sectors: Health and Nutrition; HIV/AIDS prevention; Care and support; Education; Child protection; Child-focused emergency preparedness and response; Child rights agenda, including Civil society development, Economic opportunities, Child poverty Research, and Advocacy for child-friendly development policy and practice.

They are looking for a Vietnamese candidate for the position as Intern for Livelihoods project. The successful candidate will be based in Danang with travels to project sites.

Job Purpose
The Intern will work under supervision of project officer to assist livelihoods team in daily activities and give logical supports for effective implementation of activities in Livelihoods sub-sector, focusing on the project of empowering people with disabilities (EPWD) through increased economic opportunities in Danang.

Key Competencies  
- Young, recent and enthusiastic University graduates
- Very good knowledge of Vietnamese and English, including bilingual translation and interpretation.
- Basic computer skills (Windows, Internet, WinWord, and Excel)
- Basic knowledge of development work.
- Willing to travel to project sites.
- People with disabilities are encouraged to apply
