Finance Officer - Partner Grant and Contract

Save the Children in Vietnam (SC) works to promote every child’s rights to survival, protection, participation and development as set forth in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The current programmed focuses on the following core sectors: Health and Nutrition; HIV/AIDS prevention; Care and support; Education; Child protection; Child-focused emergency preparedness and response; Child rights agenda, including Civil society development, Economic opportunities, Child poverty Research, and Advocacy for child-friendly development policy and practice.
They are looking for qualified Vietnamese nationals for the following positions based in Ho Chi Minh city:
1. Finance Officer - Partner Grant and Contract

Job Purpose: The Finance Officer - Partner Grant and Contract will, in collaboration with and under supervision of the Partners Grants & Contracts Manager, be responsible to manage the sub-grants/sub-contracts with local partners, ensuring those agreements are implemented properly and in accordance with Save the Children, donor regulations and government laws .

Key Competencies
- University degree in Finance and Accounting or related field
- At least 3 years experience for an NGO or a foreign company
- Excellent accounting and financial management skills
- Auditing skills is an advantage
- Analytical and results oriented; Honest and accurate; Mature and reliable
- Understanding of local laws regarding management of INGO aids
- Good command of computer software: Excel, WinWord, SUN
- Good spoken and written English language skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team
- Ability to work closely with program staff, while ensuring the needs of Finance Department are finished in a timely fashion.
-  Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children’s aims, values and principles.
-  Ability to travel within Viet Nam and abroad
