Vacancy: Finance Director
Based in Hanoi

They are looking for a motivated qualified Vietnamese national for the position of Finance Director. The successful candidate will be based in Hanoi with travels to field offices and overseas. The Finance Director is a senior management position which offers excellent opportunities for learning and advancement regionally and globally. The successful candidate will represent Save the Children in Vietnam with Vietnamese Government partners, and with other international organizations and donors. The successful candidate will be offered an attractive remuneration package.

Main Responsibilities:
To ensure Save the Children in Vietnam (SCiV) has the financial control and management capacity to deliver programmes that provide immediate and lasting change for children. Lead the strategic financial planning process in consultation with the Senior Management Team (SMT). Ensure the accountability and efficiency of the finance functions at Hanoi and field office levels in order to maintain effective financial controls and operations and positive profile of SCiV.

Key Competencies/Qualifications:
- Post graduate decree in Finance, Business Management or related field or holding a professional qualifications as ACCA/CPA/CA/CIMA
- At least 7 years experience in financial planning and management
- Practical knowledge and skills on computerized accounting packages
- Proven financial management knowledge and skills
- Excellent training and communication skills
- Proven skills in audit requirements
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Advanced bi-lingual financial report (writing) skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Advanced computer and IT skills
- Demonstrated experience in HR development
- Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children’s missions s, values and principles.
- Frequent travels both in Vietnam and internationally
