Evaluation Project Manager; Evaluation Project Officer

1. Evaluation Project Manager (Hanoi) (1.0 FTE)

Overall Responsibilities
The Project Manager will assist the Director of Program Evaluation/Quality Assurance in the development and implementation of the project and serve as liaison to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Vietnamese government partners.

Specific Responsibilities
1. Serve as liaison between local and Boston-based HAIVN staff, CDC office in Vietnam, and Vietnamese government partners (LIFEGAP and PAC of HCMC)
2. Work with CDC and Vietnamese partners to coordinate and schedule site visits
3. Lead site visits for HAIVN evaluation team
4. Oversee translation and production of the data collection instruments
5. Supervise data collection and assure quality
6. Participate in immediate site visit feedback sessions
7. Assist with preparation of formal site evaluation reports
8. Participate in site quality assurance monitoring
9. Lead staff training courses, workshops, and project meetings
10. Address local institutional review boards requirements

- Director of Program Evaluation/Quality Assurance (Boston-based)

Qualifications
- MD, MPH, or advanced nursing degree
- Excellent English and Vietnamese verbal and writing skills
- Excellent interviewing/interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with computer applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience in monitoring/evaluation and/or quality assurance preferred
- Experience with Access Database preferred

2. Evaluation Project Officer (Hanoi) (1.0 FTE)

Overall Responsibilities
The Project Officer in Hanoi will be responsible for implementation of activities in Hanoi and the northern provinces for the Program Evaluation/Quality Assurance Project.

Specific Responsibilities
1. Translate project documents
2. Distribute and collect survey instruments
3. Perform data collection and entry
4. Assist project manager with on-site logistics
5. Manage collected data using standard operating procedures
6. Participate in staff training courses, workshops, and meetings

Qualifications
- MD, MPH, or advanced nursing degree
- Excellent English and Vietnamese language skills
- Excellent interviewing/interpersonal skills

- Experience with data collection preferred
