EMWG-iSEE Workshop: Cultural Diversity, Ethnic Identity and Sustainable Development in Vietnam (APF)

ASEAN People’s Forum (APF) is organized in Hanoi from 23 to 26 September 2010 to
help strengthen solidarity and cooperation among the ASEAN people for promoting a
really people-oriented ASEAN community, for the common benefit of ASEAN people.
Vietnam is the chair of ASEAN, therefore; APF will be held in Hanoi with 16 thematic
workshops. The Institute for Studies of Society, Economy and Environment (iSEE) is
nominated as the coordinator for ethnic minorities’ issues. iSEE in collaboration with the
Ethnic Minorities Working Group (EMWG) and the participation from government
bodies, NGOs and researchers, organize a workshop on the ‘Cultural Diversity, Ethnic
Identity and Sustainable Development in Vietnam’.
