Vacancy: Education Project Officer
Based in Hanoi

They are looking for a Vietnamese national for the position of Project Officer for project on Child Friendly Learning Environment/Promoting Positive Disciplines in Schools. The successful candidate will be based in Hanoi with travels to project sites.

Main Responsibilities
The Education Project Officer is responsible for ensuring effective project implementation and achieving project objectives. The responsibilities include project designing, planning, implementation, monitoring and follow-up, including progress and financial management.

Key Competencies 
- University degree or equivalent in education, social sciences
- Experience/knowledge on child friendly learning environment/positive discipline  
- At least 3 years experience in education project implementation, preferably in international organizations, INGOs and/or bilateral organizations
- Good training and facilitation skills
- Proven track record developing and managing budgets
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Ability to work independently under minimum supervision within a team. High team work spirit
- Ability to organise and coordinate complex activities within interrelated schedules and timelines
- Excellent English and Vietnamese written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to Convention of the Right of the Child and Political awareness
- Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods
