Vacancy: Education Project Manager
Based in Hanoi

They are looking for a Vietnamese national for the position of Project Manager to join Education team. The successful candidate will be based in Hanoi with travels to project sites.

Main Responsibilities
The Project Manager is responsible for overall management and coordination of the assigned components of the education programme of Save the Children in Vietnam - namely inclusive education (with focus on  children with disability/ disadvantaged children) and others cross cutting issues such as child friendly learning environment and positive discipline; representation of the education programme internally and externally; financial budgeting and monitoring of the assigned grants, working closely with partners for efficient programme implementation.

Key Competencies 
- University degree, preferably in inclusive education/ child friendly learning environment  or relevant disciplines
- At least 5 years experience in international development work
- Demonstrated experience in project design, management, monitoring and evaluation
- Demonstrated skills in financial and grants management
- Working knowledge of education policies and practice
- Proven skills in organisational representation and advocacy
- Demonstrated skills in personnel management and team development and training
- Computer literate and able to self- service for routine office purposes
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese
- A proven commitment to children’s rights and equality of opportunity.
