CSR Project Evaluation Consultant
They are now seeking qualified candidates to the position of Evaluation Consultant CSR - to evaluate the impact of a 3 year pilot project recently completed.
The evaluation task is to undertake “An External Impact Evaluation of the Pilot Business Social Compliance Initiative on Labour Standards and Social Responsibility among Selected Vietnamese Supplier and Sub-Contractor Companies to the Finland Retail Sector”. The project is an initiative of the Finnish Responsible Importers Network under the Chamber of Commerce and the Finnish Trade Union Solidarity Centre (SASK) with support of the Finnish Trade Union Federation and Finnish Government.
Union Aid Abroad APHEDA has been the implementing and coordinating partner in Vietnam, in collaboration with VCCI – HCM branch, HCM FOL, HCM DOLISA.
The objectives for the evaluation are as follows:
a) Tracking the past performance of the project;
b) Collection and analysis of the lessons learned;
c) Providing tools for future planning and improvements
Qualifications required of consultant:
a) Strong experience in evaluation - of CSR type projects an advantage
b) Knowledge of the BSCI standard and understanding of the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility
c) Some understanding of trade union culture and dynamics in Vietnam
d) Understanding of the logical framework analysis (LFA)
e) Ideally have some experience of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
f) Speak, write and understand well both the Vietnamese and English languages
g) Be proficient with word processing and Power Point
h) Be able to present evaluation results clearly to all concerned
i) Be available to develop the plan and then conduct evaluation between March 2010 and June 2010
