Job Title : Consultant to Carry out workshop on Community Development Fund model for Plan supported areas
Location : Hanoi
Job purpose:
The overall purpose of the workshop are to provide to the participants the knowledge and experience sharing on process of establishment, principles of management, and use of community development fund (CDF) by introducing the best practical models and lessons learnt on exploiting, managing and developing CDF.
Tasks and Time frame:
Task 1: Developing the workshop modules and subordinated materials, and agenda for workshop (in consultation with PPDP team): 3 days.
Output 1: The workshop modules, subordinated materials and agenda for the workshop should be finalized with and accepted by PPDP team.
Task 2: Facilitating and leading in participatory workshop: 3 days
Output 2: About 35 participants would be acquired knowledge and skills, and be able to support and guide community cadres on exploitations and management of CDF within PPDP frameworks and poverty reductions;
Task 3: Come out with a proposal on how to implement CDF component in Plan Supported areas (in Vietnamese and English): 2 days
Output 3: A proposal on how to implement CDF component in Plan Supported areas (in Vietnamese and English) is finalized and submitted to Plan to consider for applying, no later than 7 days after the closing of the workshop.
Requirements:
- The consultant (s) should have the following qualifications to effectively carry out the proposed tasks:
- At least 5 years of experience in design, establish and develop CDF as well as support for CBOs;
- At least 7 years of experience working in development sector in non-governmental organizations
- At least 5 years of experience in providing facilitating for workshop/training for adults, with fluent skills in using capacity-based and participatory workshop methods
- Master degree in relevant subjects.
