Component Manager of Strengthening Civil Society Organizations

CARE in Vietnam is looking for experienced and qualified Vietnamese candidate for Component Manager of Civil Society Organizations Strengthening Component. The Civil Society Organizations Strengthening Component (CSS) is a component under Socio-Economic Inclusion in Sustainable Development for Ethnic Minorities in Northern Vietnam (CASI).
Position information:
Position title: Component Manager
Reporting to: Rural Development Senior Program Manager
Supervise: one staff
Contract: Three years
Base in: Hanoi with travel to project sites as required
Summary of Job
Component Manager supports or directly responsible for CASI strategy development and implementation such as VNGO, CBO capacity building strategy and approach, advocacy strategy etc. Provide strategic directions to the component team and partners to ensure the implementation of the component is in line with all relevant CASI program/the component strategies, CARE’s values, principles and guidelines. Lead the component team to work as a part of overall CASI program. Overall management of the component including financial, programmatic and partnership management, monitoring and evaluation

Selection Criteria:
- University Degree
- At least one year experience in manager position
- Strong management and leadership
- Good coordination and communication
- Good English report writing skills
- Interested and have good capacity in networking, training approaches and able to link with relevant support institutions.
