The Vietnam Forest and Deltas Program is funded by USAID and implemented by Winrock International and MARD, in partnership with SNV, the Red Cross and SRD. The USAID Vietnam Forest and Deltas Program is embarking upon a five-year effort that will support four provinces to accelerate their transition to climate resilient, low emissions development through investments in reducing net emissions from forests, and enhancing resilience of people, places, and livelihoods to short and long-term climate impacts. VFD has two major components: (1) Sustainable Landscapes which is conducted in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, (2) Adaptation which is conducted in Nam Dinh and Long An.
