East Meets West is an international NGO headquartered in the United States, and has offices in seven countries in Southeast Asia, including Cambodia. The Clean Water and Sanitation Program (CWSP) started in Vietnam in 1994, and currently serves about 350,000 people across rural areas of Vietnam. In recent years, EMW has expanded the CWSP to Cambodia by developing clean water project at several schools, a rural clean water system for about 300 households, and a major sanitation program using output based aid methodology reaching about 25,000 families in two provinces. Together with French based INGO Gret, EMW is now beginning to implement a public private partnership clean water output based aid (PPP WASHOBA) pilot project.

HealthBridge Vietnam has projects in the areas of nutrition, gender equality, reproductive health, tobacco control, and cancer control. HealthBridge is leading an IDRC-funded projects entitled “Nutrition and Food Security in Uplands of Vietnam and Thailand” for a period of 3 years from March 2013 to February 2016. The goal of the project is to identify local and practical solutions to improve nutrition and food security amongst smallholder farmers in rural upland communities in Vietnam and Thailand through nutrition-sensitive agriculture solutions.
