The UNDP Viet Nam seeks 01 National Socio-economic Expert for Project Preparation “Conservation of Critical Wetland Protected Areas and Linked Landscapes” The Government of Viet Nam, represented by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE), received GEF assistance through UNDP to carry out a full size project to establish new wetland protected areas and to create capacities for their effective management to mitigate existing and emerging threats from connected landscapes. The project aims to promote sustainable use of wetlands and of the wider landscape, trough addressing the present barriers to achieve the long-term solution for effective wetlands conservation in Viet Nam.

Introduction: enda Vietnam (Environment and Development Action in Viet Nam) is the Vietnamese antenna of enda Tiers Monde, operating in different provinces/cities in Viet Nam since 1994. enda Vietnam works with the poor in urban areas with focusing on solid waste system management, network of communities and cities, environment awareness, community savings and development, support migrant and policy advocacy. The current project areas are Hanoi, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Ha Tinh, Kon Tum and Ho Chi Minh City.
