The Norwegian Mission Alliance invites applications from highly qualified Vietnamese nationals for the position as: Project Officer Community Development
We are looking for a highly qualified candidate for our community development projects in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. The main responsibilities for this position are related to our livelihood components. This requires excellent skills in, and knowledge about, livelihood, community facilitation and M&E. The position reports to our Senior Project Officer for community development and includes strategic project management, analysis and operational project related tasks. The Project Officer is part of our project operational team, and will also interact with our Microfinance and Inclusive education projects.
We are seeking a candidate with a higher, relevant, university education, and at least 3 years of relevant documented working experience. We require the candidate to have INGO/international working experience, and strong knowledge of project management and proven community development skills. The candidate should also possess team work abilities and strong skills in relationship building at various levels, and need to prove dedication and commitment to improve the living situation of our target group.
The position requires excellent English skills written and spoken.
We offer a full time, permanent position, starting January 2015. Place of work is Ho Chi Minh City, extensive traveling should be expected to the Mekong Delta.
