II. Project background and Purpose of RFQ

With the support from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (US CDC) , PATH will partner closely with the Vietnam Administration for HIV/AIDS Control (VAAC) to develop the HIV/AIDS information system that has an interoperable data exchange architecture, allowing information to be recorded for people diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and their sentinel events from multiple sources at different times into a central HIV/AIDS information repository. The system then supports the monitoring of HIV/AIDS epidemic trends, program impact, and provides alerts to inform prompt public health responses.
PATH seeks to obtain price and availability information on supplies and services needed for this project as in the Scope of Work and Deliverables.
