Title of the Consultancy Assignment: Support in implementing of the community awareness raising activities toward behaviour change on the sustainable utilisation and management of natural resources, including wildlife consumption under the CarBi II project

Project: CarBi II           

Work location: Thua Thien Hue and Quang Nam provinces

Duration:  93 person-days from September 2021 to January 2022 

1. Working principles: The consultant will work under supervise of IWT and CE component leads, CarBi II project. Please see attachment for detailed TOR

2. Required profile:

  • Knowledge/Expertise:
    • At least bachelor degree in relevant study areas such as sociology, forestry, environment/nature conservation, socio-economic development, human behavior, and related areas;
  • Experience:
    • Proven track record and extensive experience of at least 10 years in awareness raising, attitude and behavior change intervention strategies, including socio economic surveys in rural communities, in the areas of natural resource management/protection/utilization.
    • Good knowledge of and experience working in the Central Annamite landscape, particularly Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam and Da Nang
    • Good understanding of CarBi II Project is beneficial
    • Experience working with WWF Viet Nam
    • Experience in working with the relevant authorities in the project area is advisable
  • Skills and capabilities:
    • Language skills: proficient in Vietnamese and English
    • Good report writing and presentation skills in English
