Contractor to Conduct 03 Cross-sectional Surveys For Eliminate Dengue Project in Vietnam (EDPV)

The Eliminate Dengue Project in Vietnam (EDPV) is seeking services of a qualified and experienced contractor to carry out three cross-sectional surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of communications and community engagement activities of the project in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province. Results of these surveys will help EDPV to develop its communications strategies for a future release of Wolbachia infected mosquitoes.

Three surveys include:

1. Baseline survey to be conducted in late November 2016;
2. Second survey to be conducted in February 2017 after intensive communications and community engagement activities (before mosquito release);
3. Last survey to be conducted in July 2017 after the end of mosquito release.

Key Scope of Work of contractor includes: training for data collectors; coordinating and organising all field activities for data collection, cleaning and analysis; and writing a narrative report for each of the three surveys. Detailed Terms of Reference for the consultancy is attached.
