Driver (2 positions)
SNV Vietnam is looking for 02 Drivers, based in Hanoi with frequent travels to other provinces (one full time and one part time contract)

SNV Vietnam is seeking 02 national candidates for the position of Driver to join the team.
Responsibilities
- Transport people and material safely and on time to the desired destination on request
- Keep an updated logbook on kilometres, destination and signatures of travellers
- Keep the car clean and working properly
- Regularly check the functioning of the car: brake fluid, clutch fluid, lights, battery, tire pressure, oil, windscreen wipe etc. to ensure car is available for safe transportation. Extra reparation approval should be given in advance
- Make sure that all vehicles papers are in order (registration card, circulation permit, and insurance card). Arrange extension of the papers
- Regularly reports the car situation and has responsibility to get maintenance for the car and ensure the safety of the car as well as its spare-parts
- Arrange the periodical maintenance of the car: arrange quotations of different garage, request for approval (FO); go to the garage and check; return spare parts
- Parking car at the garage assigned by SNV
- Go to governmental agencies/partners/client organizations when requested
- Carry out other duties as required and instructed by supervisor/responsible staff
Candidate profile
- Vietnamese citizen
- Having valid driving license granted by concerned Vietnamese authorities
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferable experience at international organization
- Being a responsible person and having strong sense of safety driving
- Ability to do small car repairs
- Ability to check the general running of the car: oil, brakes, tires, battery, filters, etc.
- Ability to communicate in English (speaking and listening) at basic level
- Good team-work spirit and willing to support others
- Being ready and well- prepared when requested for driving tasks.
Supervision:
The driver will be coached and supervised by Financial Officer of SNV Vietnam.
Contract Duration:
One year full time and a part time contract.
