03 Medics

Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) is an Oslo-based Humanitarian organization working in the fields of Mine Action. We are seeking for qualified, enthusiastic, experienced Vietnamese national applicants for the position of 03 Medics. The post holder will be working in NPA-RENEW project based in Dong Ha city, QUANG TRI province.

General responsibilities: Medic is to provide first aid and trauma based medical treatment to team members in the event of an accident and manages medical equipment and aid tools used for first aid and health care of team members in accordance with SOP of NPA Vietnam and other project regulations.

Specific duties

• Prepare all medical equipment for daily operational activities in accordance with the Team Leaders briefing.
• Responsible for the correct and timely diagnosis, treatment and advice on all medical conditions of team members.
• Ensure that all medical equipment is packed in a uniform and organised manner to ensure easy access and quick removal when required in emergency situations.
• Carry out medical training to other NPA staff when required.

Required qualifications and Experiences

Must have:

• Degree/Diploma in Nursing/ Medical service.
• Qualified to administer IV fluids and drugs.
• Prior experience in working with trauma based medical emergencies.
• A desire and being fit for outdoor activities.
• Having a Driving licence at level B1 or higer is preferable
