Program & Communications Intern

AFAP Vietnam seeks qualified, highly motivated candidates who are ready to undertake a long-term commitment to the not-for-profit sector, for the position of Program & Communications Intern, to commence at the beginning of October 2014. The internship represents an exciting opportunity for aspiring development workers to enhance their skills and gain both field and office-based programmatic work experience, as part of a 3-6 month structured learning process.

AFAP was the first Australian NGO to be formally registered to work in Vietnam in 1996. Since then, it has partnered with local government, civil society organizations, and vulnerable and disadvantaged communities in 24 provinces, to implement projects within a range of program areas including: livelihoods & food security; climate change & environment; governance & institutional strengthening; health, water & sanitation; and education & social inclusion.
