Overview: Alive & Thrive is an initiative to save lives, prevent illness, and ensure healthy growth and development. Good nutrition in the first 1,000 days, from conception to two years of age, is critical to enable all children to lead healthier and more productive lives. Alive & Thrive is scaling up improved infant and young child feeding and maternal nutrition through large-scale programs in several countries in Asia and Africa and through strategic technical support and the dissemination of innovations, tools, and lessons worldwide. Alive & Thrive is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the governments of Canada and Ireland. The initiative is managed by FHI 360
To influence current IYCF practice and generate demand for the franchise services, A&T is working on a creative media and interpersonal communication campaign. A&T has been working with Ogilvy to develop the set of communication materials (refer to www.aliveandthrive.org).
In 2014, A&T will continue to work on developing and producing BCC materials, Alive & Thrive is looking for a printing agency to provide printing services for Behavior Change Communication materials for the project.
The purpose of this Request for Quotations (RFQ) is to solicit quotes for the production and delivery of materials. Additionally, the detailed delivery list (quantity and place) is attached - see Annex 1. Print materials will be distributed by the chosen agency or agencies nationwide and used at the nearly 800 franchises under the Alive & Thrive project and other government health facilities and programs as relevant.
This Request for Quotations is to identify and contract with an agency or agencies that are able to print and deliver the materials to support A&T’s communication campaign in Viet Nam. A&T will provide the original electronic files to the awarded party or parties for printing.
