Introduction
The Centre for International Studies and Cooperation (CECI) is a not-for-profit organization with headquarters in Montreal, Quebec that provides diverse consulting and project management services addressing multiple facets of poverty reduction. CECI manages more than 35 contracts for services related to social and economic development, sustainable natural resource management, humanitarian assistance and disaster preparedness and mitigation in 23 countries throughout Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. These projects are financed by CIDA, ADB, USAID, World Bank, UN agencies and, most recently, DFID. They are implemented in partnership with governments, local authorities, NGOs and beneficiary organizations.
