Accountant

Chemonics International, a global development firm based in Washington, DC, seeks an accountant for a USAID-funded project in Vietnam to help prevent HIV infection among high-risk individuals and to provide employment opportunities and services for people living with HIV/AIDS and other high-risk individuals.

The Accountant will be responsible for all financial matters relating to project – that is managing the project’s accounting transactions and books, monitoring project budget expenditures, and assuring proper financial reporting.

Announcement HIV CF Southeast Asia , 4th Grant Cycle

The HIV Collaborative Fund for Southeast Asia is now requesting proposals for the 2009-2010 cycle of funding from organisations seeking support for community-based HIV treatments advocacy and education programs.
Funding is geographically limited to Thailand , Laos , Cambodia , Vietnam , Indonesia , Myanmar , the Philippines and Malaysia .

Project Officer (Medical Doctor) for HIV/AIDS

HAIVN provides clinical mentoring and supervision in PEFPAR funded and other HIV AIDS Care and Treatment sites throughout Vietnam. HAIVN has HIV AIDS Clinical Experts (Medical Officers) who regularly visit clinical sites for training, supervision and mentoring in addition to providing formal training activities..

STDs/HIV/AIDS (SHAPC) is established since 1998, one of very first local NGOs working in the fields of community health and development. We are urgently seeking 1 Secretary.

Position: Secretary

Key responsibilities:
- Handle secretarial work: answer telephones and transfer or take messages; manage the in/out faxes, emails and letters, maintain office records, filing and reference, etc
- Provide translation and interpretation services (English <-->Vietnamese)
- Assist the Director in maintaining liaisons with project partners, preparing reports, proposals ...
- Arrange meeting and may takes minutes if necessary or per requested
- Provide logistical support for project events and field trips   

Student Club Manager

STDs/HIV/AIDS (SHAPC) is established since 1998, one of very first local NGOs working in the fields of community health and development. We are urgently seeking 1 Student Club Manager for the project “HIV prevention for students in Hanoi”

Position: Student Club Manager

Key responsibilities:
- Manage project activities in the club (planning, budgeting and implementing…)
- Assist project officer in implementing project activities
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirement:
- BA degree with major in Public Health, Social Science, Management  or related field;
- Having knowledge on HIV/AIDS;
- At least one year of work experience;

HIV/AIDS Technical Working Group

The HIV/AIDS Technical Working Group brings together participants from international NGOs, as well as staff from bilateral donors, foundations, the UN family, and Vietnamese Government and non-government organisations, who share resources and experiences and engage in planning and form partnerships for HIV/AIDS prevention, care and advocacy.

The working group meets every two month. Facilitation is conducted by representatives from international organisations and rotates every three meetings or every six months. In addition to the partnerships between group members, partnerships with government also occur at the national and provincial level through individual organisational collaboration.
