Dozens kinds of unexploded ordnance (UXO) used in wartime have been disabled by Vietnam’s armed forces, surprising specialists from other countries. Local people and experts from the 4th conference of the Experts’ Working Group on Humanitarian Mine Action of the ASEAN Defense Ministers’ Meeting Plus (ADMM+) held last weekend have admired Vietnamese armed forces for their capability of incapacitating many kinds of UXO which left from wars, especially those from the Vietnam War. Many kinds of bombs and mine used in the war have been displayed at an exhibition at Vietnam National Mine Action Center in Hanoi’s outlying district of Thach That during the ADMM EWG HMA have shocked people of its severe destruction.
