Good Neighbors is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects. Currently Good Neighbors has been operating in 37 countries, supporting approximately 17 million people, including more than 10 million children.
Good Neighbors International in Vietnam (GNI) is implementing Community Development Projects (CDP) based on child sponsorship in 3 provinces; Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa. GNI is working in main areas as child sponsorship and education, water and sanitation, income generation, etc. in 9 CDPs and is managing over 9,600 sponsored children.

1. KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Internal: Country Director, Managing Director, OD Manager/Officers, SSD Manager/Officers, AD Manager/Officers, PM, Project Officers
External: GNI’s Donors, Partners, Governmental Officials, INGOs, Communities
2. MAIN DUTIES
- Implementation of the capacity building program for children.
- Implementation of the program and to mobilize promote the participation of children.
- Building Strengthening Volunteer and child protection networks in the local.
- Capacity building for partner about Children's rights.
- Develop programs the children protection.
- Implement other tasks related to the project activities when asked.
- Do monthly gift-money.
- Conduct Annual Progress Report (APR).
- Conduct Annual Child Thank-you Letter (ACL).
- Conduct home-visiting as per annual plan.
- Participate and support other activities of SSD.
- Conduct New Child as per annual plan.
- Manage Special Case.
- Manage Child Management System (CMS).
- Manage child list and child files of Chi Thiet Commune.
3. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Education
- University graduate in social work or related fields.
- Work experience
- At least 1 year relevant working experience.
- Experience and skills of working with children.
- Experience in community development or with NGO.
Skills
- Ability to work independently and with the team;
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good organizing skills and interpersonal skills;
- Good skill in computer use: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email
- Basic English skill.
Attitude
- Sociable, responsive, committed working with GNI at least 8 months.
- Teamwork.
- Accountable.
