The International Labour Organisation Country Office for Viet Nam invites applications from Vietnamese nationals for the post of Senior Secretary to the Director. The position is responsible to provide direct assistance to the Director and carry out administrative and office management support and general processing functions at the Office. The assignment is based in Hanoi for one year at G6 level, with the possibility of extension subject to satisfactory performance.

Minimum Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school education and secretarial training. Successful completion of the typing and standard office computer applications test is compulsory.
- Six to seven years of secretarial experience preferably in international organizations.
- Excellent knowledge of both English and Vietnamese. Proven ability to draft very well in both languages.
- Thorough knowledge of secretarial and administrative procedures and practices.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to search and retrieve information from databases and compile reports.
- Ability to deal with people with tact and diplomacy and to handle confidential matters with discretion.
