The Embassy of Australia in Hanoi is seeking applications for the Locally Engaged Staff (LES) position of Senior Evaluation and Learning Manager for the Economic and Development Corporation Section. The successful applicant will initially be employed on a full-time contract for a period of 12 months with the possibility of an extension.
The Senior Evaluation and Learning Manager will report directly to the Partnerships and Aid Effectiveness Portfolio Manager.
The position will be at the Classification of LE6 with a starting monthly gross salary of VND48,000,000.

SELECTION CRITERIA
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate that they have the following attributes:
1. Proven experience in managing and leading evaluations and strong knowledge on good practices in evaluations in various thematic areas for bilateral and/or multilateral aid agencies;
2. Capacity to think strategically in communicating aid projects and lessons learned and in managing high level events on aid projects;
3. Strong analytical skills and ability to analyse and interpret policies and develop innovative solutions to complex issues;
4. Strong judgement for making sound decisions on tasks/assignments with considerable complexity and sensitivity under limited direction;
5. Strong ability to take initiative, coordinate and prioritize among multiple simultaneous assignments;
6. Demonstrated capacity to work independently and as part of a team and to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment;
7. High level communication and influencing skills with the ability to write clearly and quickly and convey technical information to a variety of audiences in a cross-cultural context;
