Vacancy: Project Manager, Micro-Enterprise Development
They are looking for a Vietnamese national for the position of Project Manager for Micro Enterprise Development Project. The successful candidate will be based in either Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City with travels to project sites.
Main Responsibilities
The Project Manager is responsible for overall management and coordination of all activities in the area of micro-enterprise development in project provinces to ensure that project implementation is effective, efficient, well-represented and on schedule. - This position is also in charge of implementing new partnerships for new program initiatives in financial services and business development services working closely with local partners, Vietnam Microfinance Working Groups, State Bank of Vietnam and related institutions for efficient programme implementation.
Key Competencies:
- University Degree in Business Administration, or Banking, or Commerce; post graduate degree is preferred
- At least 5 years of experiences with private sector or international NGO development projects
- 3 years of significant experience working with poverty-focused credit & savings projects or job creation or business development services projects, extensive work experience in local capacity development
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Computer – Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Excellent training and facilitation skills
- Demonstrate an ability to communicate well, even on sensitive and difficult topics with high government officials as well as local communities
- Experienced with project design and implementation, including baseline surveys and evaluations
- Familiar with writing donor reports and training materials
- Supervisory experience is a necessity.
