Project description:
Under NORAD framework supported by Plan International Norway, Plan International Viet Nam to implementing the Ending Child Marriage project, in Ha Giang, Lai Chau and Quang Tri province from 2016 to 2019.
Provide economic support and incentives to girls and their families: Parents may benefit financially from marrying their daughters off early, either through gaining a bride price, lowering the price of the required dowry or simply having one less mouth to feed. Approaches that enhance the economic security of poor households can aid in curbing child marriage. Providing a girl or her family with an incentive, such as a loan, or an opportunity to learn an income-generating skill, can yield immediate economic relief for struggling families. Daughters who learn skills that enable them to earn an income in the future may be seen as adding more value to the family[1].
Within the framework of the Ending Child Marriage project, the outputs of this assignment will serve as an evidence base for development of Agriculture Value chain investment proposal/s and formulation of value chain frameworks as well as financing mechanism/s in Quang Tri from 2017-2019.
We are looking for experienced, qualified and motivated Vietnamese National consultancy team to conduct the Value chain analysis in Quang Tri province. Please see the TOR attached.
