Consultant for Options for Benefit Distribution System (BDS) mechanism for payments that’s included ESs in aquaculture and participatory Forest Monitoring, Reporting System (FMRs) for integrated mangrove shrimp piloting model in Ca Mau
SNV - Netherlands Development Organization is recruiting a consultant for assignment “Options for Benefit Distribution System (BDS) mechanism for payments that’s included ESs in aquaculture and participatory Forest Monitoring, Reporting System (FMRs) for integrated mangrove shrimp piloting model in Ca Mau”.
Qualifications, experience:
- The consultant should demonstrate expertise in thorough understanding and experiences on REDD+, Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES), Aquaculture value chains practices and familiar with integrated Mangroves Shrimp farming in Ca Mau and/or other coastal areas;
- Graduated degree in Agroforestry, Aquaculture and/or related fields who have at least 10 years practical experiences in the field;
- Good experience in working with provincial, district, community in terms of research, consultation, participatory approach and training;
- Excellent facilitation and communication/training skills;
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese (speaking + writing);

- CVs up to date;
- Detailed proposal including work plan and cost estimates that identifies the number and frequency of consultant working days, key stakeholder engagement events, site survey.. for fieldwork for operational and logistical plans and revising, throughout the duration;
- Estimated consultant working days is detailed bellowed (with supported of SNV’s field coordinator and the provincial/FMB partners):
- International expert on PES, REDD+ to input on methodology, outline, analysis results and reports (20 days)
- National Agroforestry/Aquaculture economist and REDD+ national expert (60 days) – overall quality control and assurance of outputs methodological vision, team management and liaison with relevant VN REDD+
- National and local Aquaculture/Agroforestry economists and specialists – these local specialists will be suggested from the project and the PAG in Ca Mau;
