Consultant for Improve stocking densities of shrimp for small scale farmers in integrated mangrove – shrimp in Ca Mau
SNV - Netherlands Development Organization is recruiting a consultant for assignment “Improve stocking densities of shrimp for small scale farmers in integrated mangrove – shrimp in Ca Mau”.
Qualifications, experience:
The consultant should demonstrate expertise in:
- Thorough understanding and experiences on shrimp culture practices and Mangroves Shrimp Aquaculture in Ca Mau and/or other coastal areas;
- Graduated degree in Aquaculture and/or related fields who have at least 10 years practical experiences in the field;
- Good experience in working with provincial, district, community and farmers in terms of research, participatory approach and training;
- Excellent facilitation and communication/training skills;
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese (speaking + writing);

- CVs up to date;
- Detailed proposal including work plan and cost estimates that identifies the number and frequency of consultant working days, key stakeholder engagement events, site survey, site selection and experiment design and fieldwork for operational and logistical plans and revising, throughout the duration;
- Estimated team consultant working days is about: 60 days for consultant team (with supported of SNV’s field coordinator and the provincial/FMB partners).
