The Project “Support to the implementation of the Resolution 80/NQ-CP on directions of sustainable poverty reduction (2011-2020) and the National Targeted Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction (2012-2016)" (PRPP). The Project is supported by UNDP with cost-sharing from Irish Aid is to provide technical assistance for Ministry of Labor-Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) and other related agencies at central and local level.
In order to achieve the above objectives, PRPP project has implemented a number of activities at central level, including its support to Poverty Reduction Coordination Office (PRCO)/MOLISA as leading agency to cooperate with line ministries in mainstreaming policy review and policy revision in an effective manner through policy studies, consultations and policy workshops. At provincial level, PRPP project has provided capacity building to provincial/district/commune-level officers, on purpose of more effective NTP-SPR implementation, through training, workshops, promotion of initiatives and good practices in the development of poverty reduction models in 08 selected provinces (Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Dien Bien, Thanh Hoa, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum and Tra Vinh).
To complete analysis, consolidation and documentation of lessons learned/evidences for PRPP project’s initial results/impact, PRPP project plans to recruit a consultancy team, including 2 main consultants, 1 designer (communication materials) and 01 assistant to provide technical support to the project’s national partners and 8 selected provinces.
