WWF-Vietnam is looking for Consultant to analysis of Pangasius and Shrimp in the Mekong River Delta (TOR [1] is attached)
Objective of the consultancy
The general objective of this study is to analyze the value chains of pangasius and shrimp to identify uncertainties/gaps among links of the chains (including gap of legal frameworks, environmental, social issues to increase responsible aquaculture production) in the Mekong delta.
Required profile:
- The consultancy team should include members of related backgrounds: Master or PhD in environmental economics, development economics, aquaculture, natural development and other relevant fields;
- Having experiences on fish or shrimp aquaculture certification;
- Having depth understanding on aquaculture products in the value chains;
- Having the experience on similar studies/projects in the recent past;
- Demonstrate at least 5 years of experience in working in aquaculture – agriculture value chain assessment and strengthening;
- Having experiences of participatory approaches on researches of aquaculture /agriculture sectors such as PRA tools (executed contracts).
- Priority to consultancy services having the experiences in Mekong River Delta and aquaculture value chains is preferred
- Team leader has fluently in English.
- Having skills and experiences in assessment for methodology, familiar with the project areas and understanding the local languages.
Proposal required
- Profile, financial and technical proposals (proposed methodology, working plan, activities, timeframe and budget) of consultancy service must be required to be signed and stamped;
- Business license of consultancy service must be required (copy examples);
- Certifications/degrees of consultant team related to fields as ToR required (copy examples);
