The “Low carbon transition in the energy efficiency sector in Vietnam” (LCEE) Project funded by the Denmark Government has supported the implementation of the second phase of the Vietnam Energy Efficiency Programme (VNEEP) since 2013. LCEE consists of two components: The first supports Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) in promoting energy efficiency in the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) sector while the second provides support to Ministry of Construction (MOC) in implementing the new energy efficiency building code (EEBC) for new large buildings. The project has been implemented since 2013 to July 2017.
LCEE Project is seeking for a qualified local consulting organization to provide services on "Capacity building for provincial policy makers”. The objective of the capacity building is to significantly strengthen the implementation capacity of the provincial authorities in policy development and implementation, particularly relating to the implementation of energy related regulations. For more details, please see the attached ToR [1].
