[Watsan-wg] WSS chairmanship and next meeting on 26 October from 14 PM - 16 PM at NGO Resource Centre, F1 Building La thanh Hotel, 218 Doi Can Hanoi

Dear Colleagues,

Firstly, we would like to thank Mr. Rick McGowan, the chairman of the 
WSS for nearly 2 years, for his great efforts, dedication and enthusiasm 
in helping to gathering people together and keeping the group updated on 
all Water and Sanitation activities in Vietnam; as well as in the other 
parts of the world. We hope to receive continued cooperation and active 
participation from East Meet West Team.

Mr. Rick is still in the US doing some of water O&M studies and he is 
not sure about his return to VN.

In order to keep our working group as active as in the past, we are 
would liek to invite you to the next meeting on 26 October, at 14:00 to 
16:00 hrs. The suggested agenda will include:

- Review the core group membership;
- Selection of the new chairperson
- Discussion on priority activities - work plan of WSS in 2010
- cooperation with RWSS and other WGs

Since Thomas is away on this date we suggest to postpone his 
presentation for later date. We believe that the above agenda is enough 
for a whole afternoon discussion, however, if you have suggestions for 
additional items - please let us know. Volunteers to chair this meeting 
are welcome! If there are no volunteers, NGO Resource Centre's Managing 
Co-Director will assume that role.
