APCOM offers help to 9th ICAAP abstracts on MSM (including transgender)
and HIV

 

The Asia Pacific Coalition on Male Sexual Health (APCOM
<http://msmasia.org/> ) is offering technical assistance for the
submission of abstract presentations, posters and skills building
sessions for the 9th International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the
Pacific (9th ICAAP <http://www.icaap9.org/index.php> ). The deadline for
submission of all abstracts is 15 March 2008.

 

The only restriction is that the abstract must be related to HIV and MSM
(including transgenders) and must otherwise, in your opinion, qualify
for consideration as per the guidelines on the 9th ICAAP website. Go to

The APCOM technical assistance will be limited, mostly, to content
comments and editing of English-language versions of abstract drafts.
The assistance will be performed via email only with a volunteer from
APCOM's Interim Governing Board. Send your abstract draft to APCOM at
this email address immediately: abstracthelp at msmasia.org.

 

Seeking financial assistance to attend?

The 9th ICAAP Local Organising Committee has advised that those seeking
support are encouraged to do so by 30 April; however, if you are also
submitting and abstract proposal, your scholarship application must be
submitted AT THE SAME TIME (by 15 March). 

 

Those also submitting abstract proposals will be given higher priority
for support. Those applying for partial scholarships will also be given
high priority (so try and find at least some support independently of
the scholarship program).
