Plan's vision is of a world in which all children realise their full potential in societies which respect people's rights and dignity.
Plan has provided funding and technical support to local partners and clearance organisations such as MAG, and has supported other organisations such as Peace Trees in landmine awareness activities in Quang Tri Province. Plan and MAG have jointly a researched and developed an integrated UXO learance and community development project in Le Thuy District of Quang Binh Province, which is scheduled to commence in FY03, depending on approvals and funding. If approved, this project will include a UXO clearance component, and child centered community development activities in the areas of education, health, livelihood, habitat and capacity building.
