Welcome to the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre Newsletter for 15 - 30 April 2013.

Please join us in congratulating Mr. Gary West, Country Director at FHI 360 in Vietnam, on his appointment as the new INGO representative to the Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM).

Gary has served as the Country Director for Family Health International 360 in Vietnam since late 2012. He has more than 40 years' experience in public health program management and research, with many years' experience in Asia and Africa.

We wish Gary a successful tenure in this role.

Welcome to the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre Newsletter for 01 - 15 April 2013.

Kindly be informed that Mr. Huy Pham Sinh has resigned from his post as Country Director for Save the Children in Vietnam and left Vietnam on 14 March 2013. Mr. Doan Anh Tuan has been appointed interim Country Director until mid June when an official CD comes on board.

We also would like to introduce the new Representative/Country Director/Country Coordinator of our members as follows:

Welcome to the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre Newsletter for 01 - 15 March 2013.

Ms Sanda Rihtman is leaving the position of Country Manager for CRS Vietnam to take up the role of Country Representative for CRS Mekong Sub-region, based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Sanda will oversee CRS operations in Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar.

Ms Snigdha Chakraborty will replace Sanda as Country Manager, Vietnam, from March 1, 2013. Snigdha has more than 15 years of international experience in development work.

We congratulate Sanda and Snigdha on their new positions.

There are five Working Group meetings scheduled for the first half of March, 2013:

- Sustainable Agriculture and Natural Resource Management Working Group Panel Discussion on GMO on 11 January at 14:00-17:00.

Please be informed that our services will not be available on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. The office will be closed on the following dates:

31 December 2012 – 1 January 2013
