Oxfam Vietnam Helps Ethnic Minorities in Dak Nong Raise Voice

A recent music performance night in Dak Glong, the Central Highland province of Dak Nong started a seven-day tour of local remote communes by ethnic amateur singers. The tour is part of a project initiated by Oxfam Vietnam to raise the voice of ethnic minorities in Dak Glong. During the evening’s event, more than 60 amateur singers from M’Nong, M and H’mong ethnic groups performed songs praising the homeland and love. An ethnic-inspired fashion show also attracted audiences. According to the organizing board, the activity will help raise local awareness of their cultural values. (Vov.vn July 22)
