E-com ASEAN Research n°19: AIDCO call for proposals on "Technology Transfer for Food Security in Asia" (+ China, India)

The Food Security thematic Programme (FSTP) under the EU Development Cooperation Instrument (DCI) finances structural support to food security in developing countries, including agricultural research.

AIDCO has published a call for proposals on "Technology Transfer for Food Security in Asia" with the objective to "promote technology transfer for food security for the poorest and the most vulnerable in Asia".

The call has 2 components:

The eligible countries are : Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China (except Hong Kong, Macau, and Chinese Taipei), DPR Korea, India (some States only), Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam (focus countries, where the major activities must take place, are in bold in my list).

Deadline for submitting concept notes is : 19 January 2011
Deadline for submitting full application is : 13 May 2011
