DTiNews Helps to Build More Classrooms in Remote Areas

Another set of kindergarten classrooms in the central province of Quang Binh built thanks to Dinh Vang Group through Dantri/DTiNews, was put into operation on February 14. The classroom is located in Sy Village are part of Trong Hoa Kindergarten in Minh Hoa District and cost $13,630. The previous classroom in Sy Village was seriously deteriorated, particularly after major floods which hit the central region, including Quang Binh Province, in 2016. After a call for community support to help the region, Dantri/DTiNews’s Compassionate Hearts Charity Fund received VND1 billion from donors. VND300 million from Dinh Vang Group was used to help the construction of the new kindergarten and two toilets in Sy Village which was among the hardest hit by the flood. The village has yet to be connected to national power grid. Roads to the village are rough and tortuous. Most of the children attending the kindergarten are from local ethnic minority groups.
