Assistance to Ethnic Minority in Binh Phuoc

Thirty six needy ethnic minority households in Bu Dop district, the southern province of Binh Phuoc, have been given breeding cows, helping them improve their livelihood. The 36 cows, worth VND720 million ($31,650), are part of the program to support poor ethnic minority people in disadvantaged areas under the Government’s Decision 102/2009/QD-TTg. These households were instructed how to take care of their cows. In addition to cows, they were also provided with farming tools. (en.vietnamplus.vn July 10)
