As a child-focused organization, WV’s work focuses on children, ensuring they are protected and their basic needs are met. WVV has been funded from 12 support countries in Europe, Asia, the Americas and Australia. Funding of WVV consists of sponsorship program funding (70%) and PNS/grants (30%). WVV employs about 430 staff, of which 99% are Vietnamese nationals.

Save the Children is collaborating with the Tien Gian Provincial Traffic Safety (PTSC) to implement the project “Making My Tho city safety for the journey to school – phase II” from December 2020 - March 2022. The project goal is to strengthen education and communications on road safety for primary students and their parents, as well as general road users, in My Tho city – Tien Giang province.
