Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation (VVAF) is a non-governmental organization of America. The representative office of VVAF was established in Hanoi in 1994. Since that time, VVAF have been active in 20 provinces of Vietnam with a variety of assistance programs, including programs to support people with disabilities, mine action programs to address the consequences of wars, mental health and education programs. The Research and Training Centre for Community Development (RTCCD) is a local NGO since 1996, which based in Hanoi - Vietnam. RTCCD works in the areas of mental health, maternal and child health, micronutrient and nutrition, health system development, poverty alleviation, social equity and democracy support through policy-oriented research, skill-based training and pilot projects in Vietnam. The organisation's work outcomes are shared to not only researchers and public in Vietnam but also the in-country policy makers and international scientists.
The Research and Training Centre for Community Development (RTCCD) is a local NGO since 1996, based in Hanoi - Vietnam. The TuNa clinic, established by RTCCD in 2005, is an out-patient mental health care clinic, focusing in early identification, screening, counselling, treatment of common mental disorders in children, adolescents and women, and patient family education. A growing function of the clinic is to provide therapy for children with language delay with or without a diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorders. RTCCD is looking for a volunteer in Speech and Language Pathology to provide guidance and training to clinicians at Tu Na clinic on therapeutic or teaching strategies for language delay.
