Vacancies at MoH's Project Management Unit

HHS/CDC Vietnam through the continued 5 year, 2015-2020, cooperative agreement (CoAg) with Vietnam Administration of Medical Services (VAMS) intends to support VAMS both in terms of technical expertise and finance to enable VAMS to implement the following strategies:

1. Increase capacity to detect, identify and monitor trends in antimicrobial resistance to effectively respond to the emergence of new resistant bacteria;
2. Strengthen the laboratory quality management system at health facilities at all levels as well as external and internal quality assurance programs in microbiology and hepatitis diagnosis and treatment.
3. Strengthen laboratory and clinical quality management and improvement systems to improve quality of medical services within the curative (e.g. hospital-based) system, including HIV not only limited to hospital based services;
4. Develop and implement national policies, programs and technical guidelines on AMR, Antimicrobial Resistance Stewardship, quality improvement, laboratory quality management, and diagnosis & treatment for hepatitis, as an important co-morbidity among HIV patients

VAMS/CDC CoAg is seeking 6 qualified and highly motivated Vietnamese nationals for the following positions to fill the Project Management Unit of "Project of Strengthening healthcare of Vietnam through Capacity Building, policy development and quality improvement of Laboratory and clinical services under PEPFAR":

1. Project Accountant/Administrative Assistant 

2. Planning Officer 

3. Epidemiologist  

4. Infectious Disease Physician     

5. Information Systems Manager

6. Microbiologist
